Jetour T1 Arrested By Road Test Camera In Indonesia, Jetour: Still In The Market Testing And Research Stage
JAKARTA A mysterious car wrapped in thick camouflage can be seen passing on Indonesian roads. It is strongly suspected that the vehicle is the Jetour T1, the latest SUV from a manufacturer from China.
Marketing Director of PT Jetour Motor Indonesia (JMI), Moch Ranggy Radisyah, confirmed that his party is conducting a series of road tests in Indonesia, not only for T1 but also for other models, including Jetour T2.
"This ROAD test is part of our research and validation to ensure that every Jetour product is in accordance with road conditions, climate, and local consumer needs. We are committed to presenting relevant and high-quality vehicles for consumers in Indonesia," he told VOI, Thursday, August 28.
Furthermore, Ranggy added that each Jetour model is designed by considering market needs and environmental characteristics in the destination country. Model T1 is currently still in the testing phase as part of market research and a comprehensive technical evaluation," he explained.

As previously reported, Jetour T1 was caught on camera when tested in the PIK 2 area, Jakarta. Even though it is covered in camouflage, its body curves show the characteristics of the Jetour design.
From records in China's domestic market, Jetour T1 has a length dimension of 4,706 mm, a width of 1,967 mm, a height of 1,845 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,810 mm.
This SUV will be available in two engine options. For gasoline variants, a 1,500 cc turbo engine powered by 181 hp with a torque of 290 Nm is used. While the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) version is equipped with a 2,000 cc engine capable of generating 250 hp and 390 Nm of torque.
In terms of convenience, Jetour T1 uses the MacPherson suspension at the front and Multi-link at the back, which is expected to provide a more stable and comfortable driving experience on various road conditions.
