5,000 North Cipinang Besar Residents Receive Free Health Services From Kemenimipas

The Ministry of Immigration and Corrections (Kemenimipas) through the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Corrections held free treatment and distribution of social assistance (bansos) for 5,000 residents of Cipinang Besar Utara, East Jakarta, on Wednesday (27/8/2025).

The Minister of Immigration and Corrections, Agus Andrianto, emphasized that this activity is a tangible manifestation of the government's presence in providing health services while strengthening social solidarity.

"We are here for the community, becoming a solution for the problems faced. This momentum is a step to strengthen unity, spread benefits, and care for others, especially for the residents of North Cipinang Besar," said Agus Andrianto.

Support for President Prabowo's Asta Cita Program

Furthermore, Agus said that this activity is also a form of real support for President Prabowo's Asta Cita program.

"This is only a small contribution from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs compared to what the President has done through the Asta Cita program, such as Free Nutrition Food, People's Houses, People's Schools, and free health checks. We will continue to fully support these programs," he said.

Agus also added that this activity became a series of celebrations for the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia with the spirit of Unity, Sovereign, People of Prosperous People, Advanced Indonesia.

Health Services And Social Assistance For Thousands Of Residents

The Director General of Corrections, Mashudi, emphasized that this free treatment and social assistance are proof of the government's commitment to supporting the basic rights of the community to health and welfare.

"We hope that this activity will ease the burden on the community while building healthier and more competitive human resources," said Mashudi.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Jakarta Ditjenpas Regional Office, Heri Azhari, explained that health services include:

The activity took place from 07.00 to 16.00 WIB involving 1,283 PPSU officers, health cadres, Dasa Wisma, and Jumantik. Thousands of residents continue to arrive using free health services and receive the social assistance packages provided.

Strengthen Public Service Access

In addition, this activity also introduces the Jakarta Correctional General Hospital to the public. With this step, Kemenmipas hopes to expand access to public services, strengthen social solidarity, and improve the quality of life of the people in densely populated areas.

This event is part of the 13 Kemenimipas Acceleration Program as well as supports the implementation of Asta Cita President Prabowo to improve public welfare and health.
