Gibran: 12 Travelers Quarantined, 2 From Tangerang Positive Covid-19
SOLO - Mayor of Surakarta Gibran Rakabuming Raka said the COVID-19 Task Force in Surakarta has handled 12 travelers by quarantine in Solo Technopark to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.
"There are as many as 12 travelers who have been quarantined and two of them from Tangerang declared positive COVID-19 have now been treated in referral hospitals," Gibran said on the sidelines of the event monitoring the sealing and checking activities of homecoming flows, at Pospam Faroka Jajar Solo, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, May 11.
According to Gibran, of the 12 quarantined travelers, most were sent from Jogo Tonggo Task Force. However, two COVID-19 positive travelers have been treated at Bung Karno Surakarta Hospital.
Of the 12 travelers found, the majority were from Jakarta. Those who escaped from pospam bordering, surely at the level of Task Force Jogo Tonggo caught immediately will be picked up to be quarantined.
Gibran said that at the homecoming ban inspection activities in Pospam Faroka Solo, most vehicles from outside their city are carrying permits in and out of the city (SIKM), meaning that the public has begun to understand and understand the situation as this needs to be disciplined health protocols.
"I saw firsthand the sealing activity running on the borders, but the traffic flow is not too crowded. People are starting to understand and obey the rules not to go home first," Gibran said.
In addition, Gibran explained that ahead of Lebaran, shopping places such as malls in Solo will be crowded with people.
However, it has contacted the managers of malls and conducted random swipe tests at three malls in Solo.
"The point is we've anticipated everything. Malls must be crowded with people because they want to shop for their needs," gibran said.

During Eid al-Fitr, tourist attractions in Solo such as Taru Jurug Animal Park (TSTJ) and Balekambang remain open but visitors are still limited in both the number and time. Thus, the potential for crowds can be anticipated.
