High Enthusiasm Of Citizens, Bogor Asks DKI To Add 3 Transjabodetabek Routes

Head of the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency, Bayu Rahmawanto, admitted that his party asked the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to add three Transjabodetabek routes to Bogor Regency.

"We want the Transjabodetabek that has been initiated to reach Bogor Regency and Bogor City," said Bayu when met at the National Monument (Monas) area, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, August 27.

Currently, there is only one Transjabodetabek route that is already operating, namely P11 with the Bogor-Blok M route. According to Bayu, this route has not reached many residents of Bogor Regency who want to use public transportation.

Meanwhile, public interest in using Transjabodetabek is quite high. In fact, there are often queues of residents to take the bus from Bogor to Jakarta.

"With the facilities prepared by Transjakarta under the auspices of the DKI Provincial Transportation Agency, the public is interested and the interest is good. During the P11 trial, the Bogor-Blok M route, the cargo was full," said Bayu.

"But (the P11k route is still outside the Citereup Toll Road and exited the Sentul Toll Road. The hope is that at least there will be a chance to go to Cibinong, then to Bojonggede, then around Gunung Putri," he added.

Moreover, according to Bayu, the expansion of the Transjabodetabek route to Bogor will help reduce the use of private vehicles entering Jakarta every day if the public transportation facilities in the buffer zone are more adequate.

"Be careful, Bogor people, when they have to work in the morning, they have to work in DKI. Now, it is facilitated by public transportation. So that people do not need private vehicles. If private vehicles are piled up in DKI, the traffic jams will not be cleaned up," he explained.

For information, the Transjabodetabek Bogor-Blok M route has started operating since June 5, 2025. The average normal Transjabodetabek P11 travel time is estimated to reach 90 minutes, while in conditions, heavy traffic can reach up to 110 minutes. A total of 16 bus units were deployed to serve this route, with a waiting time between buses (headways) of about 15 minutes.

Thus, the current P11 Blok M route to Bogor is Blok M - Attorney General's Office - Pasar Santa - Rawa Barat - Tegal Mampang - Pancoran - Pancoran Tugu - Buperta Cibubur - Citeureup 2 Toll Gate - Pancakarsa Monument - Bellanova Sentul Mall - Botani Square.

Meanwhile, the P11 Bogor route to Blok M is Botani Square - Mall Bellanova Sentul - Sentul - Sentul Intersection - Citeureup 1 - Cibubur Junction - Pancoran Tugu - Pancoran - Tegal Mampang - Rawa Barat - Pasar Santa - Attorney General - Blok M.
