Travis Kelce's Father Says Taylor Swift Has Been Fiance Since 2 Weeks Ago

JAKARTA - Travis Kelce's father, Ed Kelce revealed some facts about his son's engagement to Taylor Swift. Hours after revealing this good news on Instagram, the father told the process.

"He (Travis Kelce) took him out for dinner and he said 'Come out and drink wine' they came out and when he asked, it was so beautiful," said Ed Kelce, launching ABC 5 Cleveland.

Ed also said Travis Kelce proposed to Taylor Swift two weeks ago so Swift just held back the news for a long time. Currently, Ed is helping Travis's younger brother Jason at the Philadephia Eagles club before retiring in 2024.

I was in Eagles training, a public exercise where about 60,000 people gathered. During training, I got a FaceTime call from them, and when I lifted it, I saw Travis and Taylor," said Ed.

"I know what they want to say and they tell us. They started contacting me and his mother and making sure everyone knew, so seeing them together was a good thing," he said.

Through their social media, the two announced their engagement on Tuesday, August 26 local time.

"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," wrote Taylor Swift in the photo caption.

The upload shared shows Travis Kelce proposing to Taylor Swift in a flower garden. Kelce proposed to her lover with her design ring with Kindred Lubeck.

Their relationship began in July 2023 when Kelce attended the Eras Tour concert at the Arrowhead Stadium. He admitted that he failed to meet Taylor Swift. The two are thought to be close when Swift was present at the Chiefs tournament in September.

Although the two of them never appeared together in public, they supported each other's activities where Swift attended the Chiefs and Kelce matches at several Eras Tour concerts.
