Through Manifesto Video, Andien Announces Suarasmara Concert For The 25th Anniversary Of Work

JAKARTA - Andien celebrated his 25-year journey in the music industry through a video manifesto by director Shadtolo Prasetio which was launched to coincide with his 40th birthday on Monday, August 25 the day after tomorrow.

The video opens with Andien lying on the therapist's sofa while reflecting on what made him continue to struggle. From there, he dived into his imagination, led him to a series of obstacles, and met with different versions of himself from various musical eras that had been passed, from Y2K, jazz, to disco.

Returning to the real world, Andien finds the clarity of his love for music and his unshakable determination that drives his journey as a singer.

Wrapped in the avant-garde style that highlights the experimental approach, Andien's 25-year-old music video brings a personal touch. Respect for each era is also presented, by crossing reality and the real world and a dynamic tempo giving a full impression of energy such as his constantly evolving music motion.

"This manifesto video is an offering for me for the Indonesian music industry which continues to evolve from time to time, and always finds new talents and shapes every era, and in various genres," Andien said in his statement, Wednesday.

"Every era of Indonesian music has a story, and I am grateful to be in and be a part of it," he added.

But most interestingly in the manifesto video, the singer who has released eight studio albums also announced plans for a single concert with the title Suarasmara Concert.

This concert is a milestone, which not only presents musical performances, but is also a celebration of life, love, and impactful travel.

"Through the Suarasmara Concert, I would like to invite my music listeners and Indonesian music lovers to celebrate my 25-year journey in the Indonesian music industry," said Andien.

A celebration that will also bring back to the musical eras I have gone through, from jazz, pop, to disco, "he continued. Of course also cross-genre collaboration and respect for previous times that have always inspired me to keep going.

The Suwasmara concert became a monumental stage that summarized Andien's evolution, an offering to celebrate a long journey as well as open a new chapter. A series of collaborators, date and location and more details will be announced in the near future.
