Israeli Military Claims There Was A Hamas Camera Installed At Nasser Gaza Hospital Attacked
JAKARTA - The Israeli military said an initial investigation into the attack on Nasser hospital in Gaza that killed five journalists showed Hamas had cameras installed to monitor its troops.
Israeli forces attacked Nasser hospital in the south of the Gaza Strip on Monday, August 25, killing 20 people, including journalists working for Reuters, Associated Press, Al Jazeera, and other media.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said Israel deeply regretted what it called a "tragic accident".
Most recently from Gaza, more Palestinian families left Gaza City on Tuesday after overnight Israeli shootings in suburban areas.
Residents said Israeli air and tank shootings continued throughout the night and Tuesday, August 26 in the early hours of the morning on the eastern suburbs of Gaza, Sabra, Shejaia, and Tuffah, as well as in the northern city of Jabalia, destroying roads and houses.
"Earthquakes, that's what we call them, they want to scare people into leaving their homes," said 40-year-old Ismail, a Gaza City resident.

The Israeli military said its forces were operating in the area to find weapons and destroy the tunnels used by militants.
Despite widespread protests in the country and international condemnation, Israel is preparing to launch a new attack on Gaza City, which it describes as Hamas' last stronghold.
