Komdis Sanctions Overshadow PSIM And Persib Following Supporter Chaos In Bantul
JAKARTA - PSIM Yogyakarta is threatened with sanctions from the PSSI Disciplinary Commission (Komdis). This follows an incident of chaos by supporters after the match against Persib Bandung.
It is known that the inter-superporter riots occurred after the PSIM vs Persib match at the Sultan Agung Stadium, Sunday, August 24, 2025.
From the video circulating on social media, it is known that this brawl occurred at three points, one of which was in the Malioboro area, Yogyakarta.
In the video spread on social media, it can also be seen that the bus carrying Persib supporters was thrown with firecrackers and stones. In addition, the windshield also broke after being thrown using a number of iron plates.
Disciplinary sanctions in the incident will lead to PSIM and Persib.

The host cannot maintain the security and order of its supporters. Meanwhile, Maung Bandung is overshadowed by punishment because until now the Super League operator, I-League, is still imposing a ban on supporters of the visitors to come in away matches.
Previously, PSIM had been sanctioned by PSSI Komdis because there were supporters who infiltrated Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya, Friday, August 8, 2025.
The sentence is contained in the PSSI Komdis Komdis decision Number 003/L1/SK/KD-PSSI/VIII/2025 on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
"The Yogyakarta PSIM club is considered to have violated regulations regarding the presence of supporters in away matches in the 2025/2026 Super League match," reads the PSSI Komdis statement quoted on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
Based on Article 5 Paragraph 7 and 11 of the 2025/2026 Super League Regulation and Article 141 of the PSSI Disciplinary Code in 2023, PSIM Yogyakara received a fine of Rp. 25 million.
According to Super League 2025/2026 regulations on the official I-League website, all national football matches, including competitions, cannot include a guest club supporters. This rule was made as an effort to improve the security and comfort of Indonesian football.
PSSI also warned that repeated violations would be subject to heavier sanctions. This is the first sanction for PSIM in the Super League this season.
If you repeat the same violation, the punishment can be heavier, such as a ban on supporters from watching live matches or even playing matches without spectators.
