Suzuki Skywave Driver Dies Wearing After Being Hit By A Transjakarta Bus In Kramat Jati

JAKARTA - Suryani (39), a woman who rides a Suzuki Skywave motorbike, died after being hit by a Transjakarta bus on Jalan Raya Bogor towards North, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, Tuesday, August 26, 2025. The victim died in a place with a broken head wound.

The woman, a resident of Jalan Raya Centex, Ciracas, East Jakarta, previously fell due to being grazed by a Transjakarta bus while riding a motorcycle with the number B 6481 PQF.

After falling, the victim's body was hit again by a Transjakarta bus NRKB B 7870 TGC driven by the perpetrator with the initials PAP.

The incident began when the Transjakarta Bus driver drove from south to north on Jalan Raya Bogor, East Jakarta. Right across from Astra 2000, the Transjakarta bus grazed the victim's motorbike.

The motorbike then swerved to the right while the victim Suryani fell to the left. Then the victim's head was run over by the right rear wheel of the Transjakarta Bus.

"As a result of the accident, the vehicle involved was damaged. Meanwhile, the Suzuki Skywave motorcycle driver suffered a broken head wound and died at the crime scene," said Head of Sub-Directorate for Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Ojo Ruslani, Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

The victim's body was then evacuated using an ambulance to Bhayangkara TK I Hospital, Police Health Center, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.

The victim's body was taken to the Police Hospital for a post-mortem et repertum (VER) of the body.

"The cause of the accident is still in the process of being investigated," he said.
