JAKARTA - The massive demonstration on August 25, 2025 in front of the DPR/MPR Senayan Building ended in chaos.

The crowd, which initially demonstrated peacefully, changed to heat up until there was clashes with the authorities, car vandalism, and the burning of police posts in the Slipi area.

The loudest demand voiced was the disbandment of the DPR, even some of the masses urged President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka to step down from his position.
