Oasis Reunion, Adidas Joins In Celebrating By Designing Special Edition Sneakers

JAKARTA - Almost exactly a year ago, the news that rock music fans had been waiting for finally arrived, namely Liam and Noel Gallagher, two brothers who became the heart of the Oasis band, officially reconciled after more than 15 years of fighting.

For fans, this news raises a lot of questions, who are the personnel who will take part in the tour? What will their song list look like later? Will there be new music? And for some fans who are quite specific, there is one main question, "When will the sneakers come out?"

Reporting from the GQ page, theGallagher brothers are known as Adidas' unofficial ambassadors. Almost every time they appear on stage, they are often seen wearing shoes and clothes with the Three Stripes icon.

After Oasis disbanded, both Liam and Noel had launched collaborative shoes through the SPZL label, Adidas sub-brand, which focused on archival models and vintage touch.

"Noel's first Special Collaboration in 2017 was a spin on Adidas Garwen," wrote the GQ report, with a navy skin design.

Two years later, Liam did not want to lose by releasing LG SPZL, which then continued in the next releases in 2022 and 2023.

This year, as a sign of their return to the big stage, Oasis again collaborated with Adidas to launch two special edition shoes.

- Noel Gallagher chose Adidas Marathon with an elegant touch of navy blue.

- Liam Gallagher appeared more 'giant' by reviving Adidas Achille, an old runner, in khaki mesh, dark brown suede, and a classic sol cream.

Both have unique details, namely the faces of each Gallagher plastered on the tongue of the shoe.

It is no coincidence that Adidas took a big part in this reunion. Previously, the German brand also released an exclusive merchandise for the Oasis kickoff tour.

Although some fans still hope there will be official Oasis sneakers. But for now, they are doing their best again.

For some fans, the biggest dream of course is to see official Oasis shoes with Liam and Noel's faces together in one model. But for now, these two releases are enough evidence, namely Oasis not only returns with music, but also in style.
