Alibaba.com Launches Guarantee Package, Encourages MSMEs To Break Through International Markets Online
JAKARTA - Alibaba.com, a multinational e-commerce platform, released Guarantee Package, an initiative presented to help Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) transform digitally.
This program is designed to encourage MSMEs to enter the global export market more easily. This launch was announced at the Alibaba.com Indonesia 2025 event in Jakarta on Tuesday, August 26.
This step was taken because many MSMEs in Indonesia still face obstacles in expanding into the international market. Usually, entrepreneurs lack knowledge about adequate export procedures and digital equipment.
Head of South and Southeast Asia Alibaba.com, Roger Luo, stated that global trade is experiencing a very fast shift. Indonesia is considered to have the opportunity to push entrepreneurs to world-class, but this potential still has many obstacles.
MSMEs still face obstacles to going global, from quality standards and buyer confidence, to digital readiness. This is not a reflection of the lack of potential; it is a signal that the ecosystem must move faster, smarter, and collaboratively," Luo said.

By presenting Guarantee Package, Alibaba.com wants to help MSMEs increase buyers' trust and visibility of their products. This program is specially designed for new business actors who switch to online export models.
Alibaba.com also provides free services for the development of professional mini-site and product inclusion. The goal is to reduce barriers to entry and accelerate the online process for exporters.
Luo stated that, "This program is designed to provide measurable results for Indonesian MSMEs to sell on the global stage (by utilizing digitalization)." The hope is that this program can accelerate the participation of MSMEs in global trade.
Guarantee Package is available exclusively for Indonesian suppliers who have just joined Alibaba.com for the first 90 days. This program will offer product exposure guarantees, free optimization services, and priority support.
