Apple Music Expands Music Transfer Features To More Countries

JAKARTA Apple Music is expanding the playlist transfer feature from other streaming apps. The feature, which was originally only available in Australia and New Zealand, is now available in six other countries.

Since last May, Apple has been trying to provide a feature to attract users of other streaming applications. With this feature, users of the Spotify to YouTube Music app can easily move playlists and song collections.

This new capability is supported by SongShift. Users can access its features through Apple Music on iPhone or iPad. To use the feature, users can immediately open Settings.

After that, open the Music app, then look for the Music Transfer option from the Other Music Service. If users don't see the option in the Apple Music app, they can open the application via a web browser.

Users only need to visit the music.apple.com website, log in to your Apple account, then select a profile picture to find a music transfer option. After that, move the desired playlist, album, or music.

Apple Music will try to match each song with its own catalog. If no match is found with the platform, the system will tag the song for review by users.

This feature only supports transfers for user-made playlists. Playlists automatically created by streaming services cannot be moved by the application.

For now, new countries that can access this feature are Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Mexico and the United Kingdom. Apple will expand this feature to more countries in the coming months.
