Divorce Trial Continues To Witness Examination, Chikita Meidy Will Present Father And Sister

TIGARAKSA - The divorce trial between Chikita Meidy and her husband, Indra Adhitya, was finally decided to proceed to the stage of examining witnesses.

Yassirni Syarifah, a relative of Chikita Meidy, explained that this was because Indra Adhitya had not been present at the trial three times.

"Alhamdulillah, today's trial for the 3rd time the defendant was not present. First, it was represented by a lawyer. The second trial was represented by a legal representative but both of the defendants did not come. Then, here the third mediation trial did not come, all of them, both defendants and attorneys," said Yassirni Syarifah at the Trigaraksa Religious Court, Tuesday, August 26.

Chikita also said that at the mediation hearing, he asked the judges to continue their divorce trial so that it could be completed immediately.

"I continued, regarding what I did inside, earlier the judge and I had already told everything and I was alone inside, my sister and my best friend were outside," said Chikita Meidy.

"That's where I have the opportunity to devote that, 'this has been mediated three times, how come the defendant can't give us any more time because I also have to work, I have to rest, because I keep working, I keep broadcasting, it's a whole day of work," he said.

"Then that woman is multi-ACTS, ma'am, so I really beg you, what else is next?'," continued Chikita Meidy.

Finally, the judge granted Chikita Meidy's request and decided to continue her divorce trial to the witness examination stage.

"Yes, finally, the judge said that the judges in the room decided that a trial would be held to examine witnesses or the subject matter of the case. So we'll just wait for September 9th, two weeks from now," he explained.

For the witness himself, Chikita Meidy will plan to present her father and younger siblings as witnesses in her upcoming divorce trial.

"Zaky and papi. For the witness, I appointed two of the family, namely my own papa, Meidy's papa and Zaky's own younger brother. Karen, he was the one who lived at home," he concluded.
