The Indonesian U-23 National Team Releases 23 Players To Appear In The 2026 U-23 Asian Cup Qualification

JAKARTA - PSSI has officially released 23 names of players who were summoned to the U-23 Indonesian national team. The selected players Gerald Vanenburg will be prepared to appear in the 2026 U-23 Asian Cup Qualification on September 3-9, 2025.

For the agenda which will take place at the Gelora Delta Stadium, Sidoarjo, Vanenburg made a number of changes. One of them is by including Dion Markx, the center-back of naturalization who is currently strengthening NEC Nijmegen U-21.

Dion's presence on the agenda will be the player's debut in the Indonesian national team in the official tournament. In midfield, Vanenburg also called Zanadin Fariz and Ananda Raehan.

As for the attacking position, Vanenburg summoned Rafael Struick. In addition, the Dutch coach also gave the opportunity to Salim Tuharea and Ricky Pratama.

In the 2026 U-23 Asian Cup Qualification, the U-23 Indonesian national team hosted Group J. Garuda Muda joined South Korea, Laos, and Macau.

Indonesia is scheduled to fight Laos on September 3, 2025, followed by Macau on September 6, 2025, and lastly against South Korea on September 9, 2025.

Later only group winners will qualify automatically for the 2026 U-23 Asian Cup which will take place in Saudi Arabia. While the other four teams will qualify as the best runners-up.
