Bandung Mayor Farhan Sued To Court Regarding Bandung Zoo Case
Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan together with the Bandung City Government, West Java, were sued in court by six people, including the defendant in the Bandung Zoo corruption case or the Bandung Zoo.
Based on detailed information on the Bandung District Court case which was monitored in Bandung, Tuesday morning, the lawsuit numbered 377/Pdt.G/2025/PN Bdg was filed by six people, namely Raden Bisma Bratakoesoema, Nina Kurnia Hikmawati, Mohamad Ariodullah, Sri Rejeki, Sri, and Gantira Bratakusuma.
Raden Bisma Bratakoesoema is known to be undergoing trial for the Bandung Zoo corruption case. In the document, it was also stated that there was an plaintiff named Sri whose name was very synonymous with one of the suspects in the Bandung Zoo corruption case.
This case was registered at the Bandung District Court trial on Thursday (21/8), with the classification of cases of unlawful acts.
Lawyers or attorneys in the document, both from the plaintiff and the defendant, did not yet exist, nor with the panel of judges, clerks, and the bailiff there has also been no appointment. The inaugural trial of this case has been scheduled for early September 2025.
"The first trial was on Thursday 11 September 2025, at the Oemar Seno Adji Room," the document was quoted as saying by ANTARA.
For the cost of the case, in the document, Rp1,157,500 has been included in the case fee of Rp.291,500 with Rp.291,500 which has been used for registration, filing, the summons of the Defendant / Volunteer / Volunteer / Iklan / Radio / Announcement, summons of the defendant, summons of the plaintiff.

In a follow-up hearing of the Bandung Zoo (Bandung Zoo) corruption case with the defendants Bisma Bratakoesoema and Sri Devi, former Regional Secretary of Bandung City Yossi Irianto who was presented as a witness revealed that the Tamansari Wildlife Foundation (YMT) as the manager did not pay rent to the Bandung City Government during the period 2008 to 2013.
Yossi, who served as Regional Secretary of Bandung City in the 2013-2018 period, at a trial at the Bandung Corruption Court, Thursday (14/8), said that YMT's rent for Bandung Zoo had not been paid was revealed in a coordination meeting with the then Mayor of Bandung Ridwan Kamil and the Bandung City SKPD ranks in early 2014.
"At that time (2014) there was an application for an extension of land use by YMT, the Mayor asked whether it had paid or not. However, it turned out that based on data from the Bandung City BPKAD, YMT had not paid from 2008 to 2013, and the mayor stated that an extension could be carried out as long as it was paid," said Yossi in response to the prosecutor's question.
During the meeting, said Yossi, the mayor also ordered steps in the form of asset recovery if the obligation from YMT could not be fulfilled.

However, Yossi admitted that he did not know the details of his execution in the field because a team had stepped down. Meanwhile, regarding the leases of assets, the authority lies with the Bandung City Regional Finance and Asset Management Office (BPKAD at this time).
Regarding this involved legal case, the Bandung City Government decided to close the facility at an undetermined time. For animal maintenance, the Bandung City Government appointed the Indonesian Zoo Association (PKBSI).
