Merdeka Run 8.0K, Celebrating The 80th Anniversary Of Indonesian Independence By Exercising

The Presidential Palace together with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) held an 8.0K Merdeka Run in the series of Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia on Sunday, August 24, 2025. Merdeka Run is a momentum for celebrating independence through sports involving thousands of people from various layers. Merdeka Run presents two main categories, namely the general category as far as 8.0K and the family category as far as 4.5K. Both are open to the public to participate in sports events with the spirit of independence.
