President Prabowo Gives Honorary Signs To The Main Mahaputera Star To Foreign Minister Sugiono

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto has awarded the Minister of Foreign Affairs (Menlu) Sugiono the honor of the Mahaputera Utama Star in the ceremony to award the Ceremony of Services and Honorary Ceremony at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday.

Foreign Minister Sugiono was awarded a sign of honor for his services to strengthen active free foreign politics, expand bilateral and multilateral cooperation, and protect the interests of Indonesian citizens abroad.

"Expending the Mahaputera Utama Star to Brother Sugiono. He has contributed tremendously in the field of international diplomacy through his work as Minister of Foreign Affairs which strengthens active free foreign politics, expands bilateral and multilateral cooperation, and protects the interests of Indonesian citizens abroad," reads a quote from the Presidential Decree read out at the event, confiscated by Antara.

The Mahaputera Utama star is given to figures who have contributed tremendously in maintaining the integrity, continuity and glory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

This award was given to 141 national figures based on Presidential Decree Number 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, and 78/TK/2025.

President Prabowo emphasized that the award is a form of appreciation from the state for the extraordinary dedication of the nation's sons and daughters.

After the ceremony to award the honor of completion, Prabowo expressed his gratitude to the figures who attended and received the award.

"Once again, thank you for the services of all of you. Hopefully these services will become a legacy for the next generation," said President Prabowo.

Apart from Foreign Minister Sugiono, there were a number of other diplomatic figures who were also awarded by President Prabowo, including Marty Natalegawa, Retno Marsudi and Noer Hassan Wirajudaa who were awarded the Mahaputera Adipurna Star, and Dino Patti Djalal was awarded the Mahaputera Adipradana Star.
