Arsenal Gets Good News, Bukayo Saka's Injury Is Not As Bad As Early Allegations

JAKARTA - Arsenal received good news after it was discovered that Bukayo Saka's hamstring injury was not as severe as the initial assumption.

Saka was pulled out in the second half when Arsenal won 5-0 over Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, August 23, 2025.

The England National Team player was out for three and a half months last season after undergoing right-handed hamstring surgery. It is also feared that he will suffer a similar injury after limping off the field due to a left-handed hamstring problem.

While it remains unclear when Saka will return to play, early indications show a positive condition for the 23-year-old. He is not expected to miss the same period of time as last season.

Arsenal - who have won both of their matches so far - will travel to Anfield on Sunday, August 31, 2025, to face Liverpool.

Meanwhile, captain Martin Odegaard was also substituted in victory against Leeds after falling with an uncomfortable right shoulder.

He was withdrawn from the fan signing ceremony at the Emirates on Monday, August 25, 2025, as he focused on his recovery.
