Demo Depan Gedung DPR, Tol Dalam Kota Ditutup Total

JAKARTA - Police officers and Jasa Marga have completely closed the inner-city toll roads due to a chaotic demonstration in front of the DPR/MPR/DPD RI Building, so that traffic flow is diverted to the Outer Ring Road Toll Road.

Antara reported at the location on Monday, around 16.45 WIB there were no vehicles crossing the inner city toll road.

There are several vehicles that have to be turned around to get to the nearest exit because officers have closed the toll road considering the situation is no longer conducive for vehicles to pass.

Currently, a number of officers are on guard on toll roads to monitor the current situation.

Previously, as many as 1,250 joint personnel from the National Police, TNI and the DKI Regional Government were deployed to secure the demonstrations that took place in the DPR/MPR/DPD RI Building area and it was confirmed that the officers were humanists in guarding the action.

"We want to ensure that activities take place safely, orderly and do not interfere with other community activities," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Police Susatyo Purnomo Condro in Jakarta, Monday.

This security is carried out to ensure the smooth delivery of public aspirations. There are 1,250 officers on guard, both from the TNI, Polri and DKI Jakarta Regional Government officers.
