Demonstrators Throw Stones At Officials From The Pejompongan Train Rail And Molotov Cocktails
JAKARTA - A number of people who came from the demonstration at the DPR RI Building survived under the Pejompongan Flyover, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta on Monday, August 25, 2025, afternoon.
From VOI's observation, since 15.30 WIB, the mass group consisting of a number of youths and students continued to provide provocations and resistance to the joint military and police forces guarding the Indonesian Parliament Building.
The mass group, which is not clearly from any alliance or institution, survives on Jalan Pejompongan and the Pejompongan Railway (KA) towards Palmerah Station.
They continued to wave at the authorities with varied stone fragments ranging from 10-30 cm to the joint apparatus.
Not only that, the mass group also fired firecrackers and Molotov cocktails at the officers guarding the Pejompongan Flyover Park.

Every now and then, Brimob officers also release tear gas at the masses to break up the increasingly violent crowd.
The crowd also carried a red and white flag tied with wood and bamboo. The red and white flag continues to be flown by demonstrators who continue to fight back.
At around 16.20 WIB, Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro deployed his members to place the security barrier vehicle towards Jalan Pejompongan, Tanah Abang.
There has been no order from the police to re-hit the demonstrators under the Pejompongan Flyover.
Meanwhile, the joint apparatus continued to be on standby by making layers of barricades equipped with shields and tear gas until this news was written.
