Instagram Creators Can Now Combine Several Reels In One Series

JAKARTA Instagram, a platform under the auspices of Meta, has launched a new feature for creators. Now, content creators on Instagram can connect multiple Reels videos into one series.

Launching from TechCrunch, this feature is launched to make it easier for viewers to follow or find content that consists of their favorite creators. For example, such as content that contains mini Drams or content that discusses certain topics.

In fact, this is not a new feature presented on the vertical video platform. TikTok has launched a similar feature with the same goal, which is to make it easier for users to find contiguous stories or tutorials released in separate videos.

This feature can also be used to group videos with the same theme. For example, creators can group videos made to discuss a series of recipes, product reviews, or specifically for sharing tips about clothes.

By collecting videos with the same topic into one series, the content will be more organized. It also provides convenience for audiences in reaching their favorite content.

To use this feature, creators can link Reels when uploading videos or after uploading them via the option menu. Once connected, a new navigation button will appear on the bottom left side of Reels. This button will direct the audience directly to the next video.

According to Instagram, this feature is one of the most popular requests from creators. The presence of this feature is also in line with Meta's efforts to compete with other short video platforms. By providing more tools for storytelling, Instagram is expected to attract more creators.
