After The Draw, PSIM And Persib Supporters Are Chaotic, Bobotoh Is Almost Burned
JAKARTA - PSIM Yogyakarta and Persib Bandung drew 1-1 after meeting in the third week of the Super League 2025/2026. In the aftermath of this draw, riots between supporters broke out off the field.
The two teams met at the Sultan Agung Stadium, Bantul, on Sunday, August 24, 2025, WIB night. After the chaos match took place off the field and went viral on social media.
From various videos spread on social media, it is known that riots broke out at around 21.00 WIB in the Ngabean Terminal area, Yogyakarta, and spread to the Tugu Station area.

The incident was triggered when Persib's supporters' group consisting of one bus unit andicky were surrounded and stoned by PSIM supporters.
The vehicle was even almost burned due to a severe stone throw. The clash is thought to have been caused by the Persib supporters' bus that crashed into PSIM supporters.
The situation was even tense until the early hours of the morning. Police were deployed to the location and had time to deploy a tactical vehicle (barakuda) to disperse the crowd.
Apart from that incident, the PSIM and Persib duel ended in a 1-1 draw. The hosts took the lead thanks to Ze Valente's 64th minute penalty and were rewarded with Patricio Matricardi's goal (90+4').
As a result of this draw, PSIM is in sixth position in the standings with five points, one ladder above Persib in sixth position which packs four points.
