Strengthen Investor Confidence, IDX Increases Trade Summary Distribution Frequency

JAKARTA In order to improve the quality of capital market information services, PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) has improved the data distribution format which will take effect on Monday, August 25, 2025.

IDX Development Director Jeffrey Hendrik said that previously the distribution of trading summary data (sumary) was only carried out at the end of the trading day, now the IDX is also distributing this information at the end of the Trade Session 1.

He added that this step is part of the IDX's commitment to always improve services, as well as ease of access to information for all stakeholders to help make better investment decisions.

"The IDX made improvements by increasing the distribution of 8 data files which were previously only at the end of trading, now are also distributed at the end of Session I of Trade," he said in his statement, Monday, August 25.

The files that were also distributed at the end of Session 1 of Trade include the summary of transaction activities based on the investor's domicile code, index data recorded on the IDX, and trade recapitulation based on the investor type.

All of these files were distributed using the same format as distribution at the end of the trading day so as to reduce technical changes by Exchange Members and other data customers and investors can contact their respective Exchange Members to see the information.

Jeffrey hopes that the availability of this information can help market participants to get a more comprehensive picture of the dynamics of investor participation while supporting the decision-making process in transactions on the IDX.

"The improvement in this data distribution is in line with the IDX's mission to continue to improve services to market players. We believe this step will strengthen investor confidence while supporting increased market liquidity," he said.

Jeffrey conveyed that with this development, the IDX encourages all Exchange Members to further utilize and process the information to be distributed to all Indonesian capital market investors.

"The IDX also invites all parties to take advantage of the available information as a more comprehensive analysis material in formulating better and wiser investment strategies," he concluded.
