Not Just About Religion, The Players Want To Hijrah Express The Meaning Of Change To Be Better
JAKARTA - The film Pengin Hijrah does not only present stories about religious change, but also brings a broader "hijrah" meaning, namely a process to become a better person in various aspects of life.
The cast, Steffi Zamora, Endy Arfian, and Nadzira Shafa, shared their views on the meaning of the hijrah which is at the heart of this film.
According to Steffi Zamora, who plays Sarah's character, hijrah is a journey that is not limited to one thing.
"In my opinion, it can be various aspects, yes. It's very wide. I'm talking about this film about travel or ee, process, right? Process of my own character, from Sarah, to be better," said Steffi Zamora in the Central Jakarta area, Sunday, August 24.

Endy Arfian, Omar's actor, also agreed that the core of the hijrah is change. "It's the same. Change. The point is fixed, the point is change for the better. Maybe you can improve yourself, improve relationships with your family or, yes, basically change in a better direction," he explained.
Meanwhile, Nadzira Shafa gave a simpler but deeper definition. "If the meaning of the hijrah from myself is actually from good to better. So, from normal to good," he said.
Apart from Steffi Zamora, Endy Arfian to Nadzira Shafa, the film Pengin Hijrah also featured acting from Daffa Wardhana to Sita Permata Sari.
It is planned that the film, which is directed by Jastis Arimba, will air starting October 30.
