IDX Reveals Average Daily Transaction Volume Of IDX Market Increases To 39.47 Billion Shares

JAKARTA The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) announced that stock trading data on the IDX for a week from August 18 to August 22, 2025, was closed in various ways.

The highest increase occurred in the average daily transaction volume of the Exchange this week of 10.00 percent to 39.47 billion shares from 35.88 billion shares in the previous week.

In addition, the average daily transaction frequency during this week has increased, by 1.98 percent to 2.12 million transactions from 2.08 million transactions last week.

Meanwhile, the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) for a week decreased by 0.50 percent to close at the level of 7,858.851 from 7,898.375 last week.

Then, IDX's market capitalization changed by 0.81 percent to IDR 14,131 trillion from IDR 14,247 trillion the previous week.

Furthermore, the average daily transaction value of the IDX has changed by 15.95 percent to Rp17.92 trillion from Rp21.32 trillion in the previous week.

Meanwhile, foreign investors today recorded a net purchase value of IDR 424.57 billion and throughout 2025, foreign investors recorded a net selling value of IDR 52.441 trillion.
