Pramono Wants Ancol Parking Lot To Be Used For JIS Visitors

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung wants parking lots in the Ancol area to be used by visitors to the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) so that it makes it easier for them to park their vehicles while attending activities at the Jakarta resident's pride stadium.

"The current problem at JIS is parking vehicles and the solution is to use parking space in Ancol," Pramono said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, August 23.

According to him, this Ancol area has a large parking area and is able to accommodate up to 10 thousand vehicles and this is certainly very helpful.

Pramono gave an example when visitors watch concerts at JIS by bringing private vehicles to trouble with parking.

"There are even three hours of events after not getting to the vehicle. This is certainly a serious problem that must be resolved," he said.

The Governor of DKI said that visitors who park their vehicles in Ancol will be provided with a shuttle bus that takes them to JIS.

This is an effort to make Jakarta a global city that is able to compete with cities in the world in providing classy entertainment for the community.

"There are big activities such as watching football matches, concerts for foreign singers, K-Pop and others that will make it easier," said Pramono.
