Production Of Plaju Semester I Refinery 2025 Capai 56.6 Percent

JAKARTA - The Pertamina Plaju refinery managed to record gasoline fuel production of 2.3 million barrels by the end of June 2025.

This figure has reached 56.6 percent of the annual target of 4.2 million barrels according to the 2025 Company Work Plan and Budget (RKAP).

This positive performance in the first semester shows the commitment of the Pertamina Plaju Refinery in maintaining the reliability of operations and ensuring the availability of national energy, especially for people in the Southern Sumatra region (Sumbagsel).

During the first semester of 2025, Pertamina Plaju Refinery produces an average of more than 395,000 barrels of Gasoline per month. This product is then distributed to PT Pertamina Patra Niaga (Subholding Commercial & Trading) to meet the energy needs of the community in South Sumatra.

With a positive achievement until the middle of this year, Pertamina Plaju Refinery is optimistic that it can exceed the Gasoline production target set until the end of 2025.

The maintained domestic crude supply support, reliability of refinery operations, and collaboration with all stakeholders are important capital for the Pertamina Plaju Refinery to continue to provide the best performance and contribute significantly to maintaining national energy security.

In addition to relying on domestic crude supplied through ships from various domestic areas, Pertamina Plaju Refinery also optimizes the use of local crude from the South Sumatra area (in particular the area around Prabumulih and the Jambi border) which is channeled directly through the pipeline network. This strengthens the strategic role of Pertamina Plaju Refinery in supporting national energy independence.

Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR RU III Plaju Siti Rachmi Indahsari appreciates the support of all stakeholders who ensure that the supply chain crude runs smoothly so that refinery operations can be maintained.

"The achievement in the first half of 2025 is the result of the hard work of all workers, as well as support from Pertamina Group, security forces, and all stakeholders. Pertamina Plaju Refinery will continue to optimize its performance so that the annual production target can be achieved properly," explained Rachmi, Friday, August 22.

He added that although Pertamina Plaju Refinery has operated more than a century, this refinery remains consistent in maintaining performance and taking various efficiency and innovation steps to support national energy security.

The success of maintaining the achievement of the first semester of 2025 is clear evidence of Pertamina's commitment to providing reliable and quality energy for the country.
