Army Chief Of Staff Maruli: Already Given Official Vehicles, Performance Must Increase
JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Maruli Simanjuntak asked all his staff to improve performance in the defense sector, along with additional official vehicle facilities provided to support unit operations.
This was conveyed by Maruli when handing over 52 units of official vehicles (randis) to the ranks of the Indonesian Army during an event held at the TNI AD Headquarters, Central Jakarta, Friday, August 22.
If you have been given a vehicle, it means that the quality of performance must also increase. This is not just a facility, but supporting tools so that tasks can be carried out more optimally," Maruli said in his remarks quoted from Antara.
In this delivery, 52 official vehicles were distributed to a number of units according to operational needs. The types of vehicles distributed vary, ranging from MPV, SUVs to Double Cabins, which are intended for personnel mobility and support for tactical activities.
According to Maruli, the distribution of this official vehicle is part of the Army leadership's ongoing commitment to supporting the effectiveness of unit work, while paying attention to the welfare of soldiers.
"Although we have limitations, the Army leadership always wants the welfare of members to continue to improve," he said.
From the first stage to the fourth stage, a total of 482 official vehicles have been distributed by the Indonesian Army. All these vehicles, according to Maruli, are the result of self-procurement.
On that occasion, Maruli also opened a space for dialogue with the soldiers. He invited all ranks not to hesitate to convey ideas and input for mutual improvement.
"We will continue to maintain and continue to do this (the distribution of Randis). In addition to members who have input or ideas, please convey it. The important thing is, we are all always compact," he said.
