Bagnaia's Relationship With Dall'Igna Heats Up, Becomes An Indication Of Leaving Ducati?
JAKARTA - The tension between Ducati's racer, Francesco Bagnaia, and Ducati Corse's General Manager, Gigi Dall'Igna, is heating up. This situation arose due to the performance of the rider throughout the 2025 MotoGP.
Bagnaia's performance polemic continues this season. Although he was satisfied with the appearance on the first day of the Austrian MotoGP, the results of the weekend race frustrated him.
In the main race of the Austrian MotoGP 2025, Bagnaia, who started from the third position, finished eighth. Bagnaia then waited for Ducati's explanation regarding his motorbike's declining performance.

Bagnaia's complaint came from the start of the season. However, Bagnaia's situation is different from his team-mate, Marc Marquez, who actually performed well this season.
Bagnaia's current condition with Ducati does not escape the monitoring of MotoGP observer Carlo Pernat. According to Pernat, Bagnaia's relationship with Gigi Dall'Igna is heating up.
"Bagnaia is facing a complicated problem. There is still no bright spot and tension with Ducati, especially with engineers Dall'Igna, starting to heat up."
"I wouldn't be surprised if, even though the contract is still two years old, Pecco is considering moving next year. Such a situation could harm him and the team," said Carlo Pernat, quoted from GPOne, Friday, August 22, 2025.
If the situation is correct, it can urge Bagnaia to leave Ducati, Pernat said that Honda and KTM have great potential to seduce Bagnaia.
"Who knows, Honda, with their financial resources, might seduce him. Positive signs come from KTM, with two riders in the top 15 and especially from Bastianini."
"Bastian ini akhirnya melihatnya kompetisi lagi dan hampir naik podium meskipun kesalahan membuatnya harus membayar mahal. Dia sudah berada di sana selama dua walapan dan itu mengesarkan," tutur Pernat.
