2,094 SIKM Application Rejected, DKI: Many Found Documents Or Doctor's Letter Falsified
JAKARTA - Since the first day of the homecoming ban until May 10, DKI Jakarta rejected 2,094 applications for Entry and Exit Permits (SIKM), out of 3,888 applications.
"248 SIKM applications are still in the process of administrative research and technical research because it has just been submitted by the applicant" said head of the Investment and One-Door Terladu Service Office (DPMPTSP) of DKI Jakarta Province Benni Aguscandra in his written statement quoted Tuesday, May 11.
He explained, the rejection of the SIKM application occurred because of the applicant's error in filling in the application data. Thus, the submitted documents cannot be proven authenticity by the applicant.
Then, officers also often find doctor's letters or other documents forged. This was obtained after administrative research and technical research of SIKM licensing.
"Many found doctor's letters and other documents affixed with writing or forged by the applicant. And we also do authentication to the relevant agencies or faskes. If the Application is not in accordance with the law and violates procedures, we clearly refuse," he said.
He then warned, for anyone caught falsifying and manipulating electronic information can be subject to Article 263 of the Criminal Code with a maximum criminal threat of 6 years in prison; and/or Article 35 and Article 51 paragraph 1 of ite Law No. 11 of 2008.
"With the threat of a maximum penalty of 12 years in prison and / or a maximum fine of Rp12 billion," he said.
In addition, Benni said it was found that pregnant women who were applicants and applied for SIKM for homecoming or vacation with family. Furthermore, this application is certainly rejected.
Because, pregnant women can indeed get SIKM. But, its use for urgent non-medical purposes such as checking the content in health facilities outside Jabodetabek.
"So it's not for homecoming or family vacations," he said.
Furthermore, Benni said the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta appealed to all parties to improve literacy related to SIKM licensing. One of them, can be by accessing social media @layananjakarta.
However, he still reminded, people should stay at home during the Eid al-Fitr holiday. Moreover, the COVID-19 pandemic is still happening.
"Let's Succeed the Elimination of Eid Al-Fitr as an effort to control mobility in minimizing the risk of increasing the rate of transmission of COVID-19. The best place to stay at home," benni said.
Previously reported, SIKM is a requirement for travelers to be allowed to travel outside the area during the Eid al-Fitr holiday ban this year.
SIKM holders during travel for non-medical purposes must bring PCR or antigen or GeNose swabs stating the negatives of COVID-19 and samples are taken within a maximum of 1 x 24 hours prior to departure.
There are only five types of applicants for SIKM that will get approval. They are people who travel on family visits due to illness, funeral visits of deceased family members, pregnant or maternity mothers, pregnant women's escorts up to 1 person, and maternity escorts maximum 2 people.
