Super League Schedule 2025/2026: Opportunity To Improve Ranking

JAKARTA - The third week of the 2025/2026 Super League will start on Friday, August 22, 2025. There are three matches to be held.

The third week opened with Arema FC's match against Bhayangkara FC and closed the Dewa United vs Persik Kediri match.

The opening match featuring Arema FC vs Bhayangkara FC will be played at 15.30 WIB at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang Regency.

Until the second week of the 2025/2026 Super League, Arema was one of the teams that had not lost points. Of the two matches that have been undertaken, Singo Edan managed to collect four points (one win and one draw).

Thanks to this number, Arema only lost to Persija Jakarta and Borneo FC at the top two of the 2025/2026 Super League standings with a perfect six points.

Bhayangkara FC experienced a different condition. The team that now lives in Lampung has only collected one point from one draw and one loss.

The result made them on the 15th stairs of the standings, aka only one set above the relegation zone. Therefore, the match against Arema will be maximized to gain full points in order to improve the rankings.

Not only the Arema FC vs Bhayangkara FC meeting, today's Super League schedule also presents a match between Semen Padang vs PSM Makassar which both fill the middle board of the standings.

After starting the season with a 0-2 defeat to Persib Bandung, Semen Padang rose in the second week with a 2-0 victory against Dewa United. With three points, Semen Padang occupies 11th position in the standings.

Meanwhile, PSM is one of two teams that have not lost or have not won. Two matches were passed with a draw.

The series of matches for the third week of the Super League this Friday will then be closed with the meeting of Dewa United vs Persik Kediri which kick-off at 19.00 WIB.

So far, Persik has collected one point after holding the Bali United series and then losing to Madura United.

The difference with Dewa United who fell in 16th place without points. They lost to North Maluku United and Semen Padang.

The appearance of the Children of the Gods is in contrast to the 2024/2025 season where they are one of the strong teams by ending the league in second place.
