In The Mall Owned By Chairul Tanjung Conglomerate, Sandiaga Uno Invites People To Buy Local Products For Eid Hampers

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy / Head of Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, invites people to shop for Idulfitri gifts containing local creative economy products in a bazaar titled #GakMudikDibikinAsik at Trans Mall Cibubur, Jakarta, which took place on May 6-19, 2021.

"This program is expected to be on target, can be felt by the community and can awaken the creative economy sector in the country," sandiaga said, in his statement, in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, May 11.

While visiting the event held by the Ministry of Parliament in collaboration with Trans Group and PT Pos Indonesia, Sandiaga said #GakMudikDibikinAsik is an event to revive the tourism sector and creative economy.

In this event, people can buy a variety of local products to be used as gifts for relatives in their hometown, without being charged shipping costs.

"This program is presented offline supported by PT Pos Indonesia. For the online, we work with e-commerce platforms that are part of the Bangga Buatan Indonesia program whose postage is subsidized by e-commerce providers," said Sandiaga.

This event is also one of the efforts of the Ministry of Parliament to support government programs so that people do not go home to suppress the spread of COVID-19.

Sending eid gifts containing local products can be one way to connect friendship, replacing our presence in the hometown.

As well as entertaining the public who come to the bazaar through various dishes presented, of course by applying health protocols. Visitor management is strictly enforced, monitored directly on television screens around events.

Sandiaga invites the public to succeed this #GakMudikDibikinAsik event by implementing strict health protocols and disciplines.

Meanwhile, Deputy for Marketing Kemenparekraf / Baparekraf, Nia Niscaya, added that this event is expected to strengthen Indonesia's creative economy as one of the pillars of support for the country's economy.

"We hope that creative economic actors can really be a support so that the nation's economy can advance," said Nia.
