Honor Prepares A Mysterious Phone With 10,000mAh Battery, 6.79-Inch Display, And Dimensity 8500 Chip

JAKARTA - Honor is developing several new phones for the Chinese market. Following the Honor Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro, which are scheduled to launch in October this year, Honor is rumored to release the Honor GT 2 series with a Snapdragon 8-series chip before the end of 2025.

Furthermore, Honor is also preparing a mysterious phone with a large 10,000mAh battery. Tipster Digital Chat Station has been gradually revealing key details about this phone. Today, Thursday, August 21st, he confirmed the device's screen size and estimated launch date through a Weibo post.

According to the tipster, the mysterious Honor phone with a 10,000mAh battery will be powered by the unreleased Dimensity 8500 System-on-Chip (SoC). He revealed that the current prototype is equipped with a 6.79-inch LTPS OLED panel that supports 1.5K resolution.

The tipster also noted that despite the large battery for extreme endurance, the device's thickness is still quite reasonable. Regarding the launch date, this phone is expected to debut in the first half of 2026. The official name of this phone remains unclear.

Currently, the Honor X70 is the Honor phone with the largest battery. This mid-range phone, powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, has an 8,300mAh battery. It weighs just 199 grams and is 8.0mm thick.

This mysterious Honor phone with a 10,000mAh battery is likely to be under 9mm thin and weigh around 210-220 grams, which is reasonable considering the size of its massive battery.
