Getting To Know K3 Company, The Case That Made Deputy Minister Immanuel Ebenezer Affected By The KPK OTT

JAKARTA - The issue of Work Safety and Health (K3) suddenly became a public spotlight after Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer alias Noel was arrested by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) during a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Wednesday night, August 20, 2025.

Deputy Chairman of the KPK Fitroh Rochahyanto confirmed the silent activity. He said OTT was related to the alleged extortion of companies in matters of K3 certification.

"(OTT) extortion of companies related to the management of K3 certification," said Fitroh when contacted by reporters, Thursday, August 21.

Fitroh said that a number of evidences were obtained in the OTT that ensnared the Deputy Minister of Manpower, including money to vehicles.

"(The temporary evidence obtained) money, cars and motorbikes," he said.

What is K3?
