Returning To Trust, Kakang And Robi Darwis Will Strengthen The U-23 Indonesian National Team
JAKARTA - Two Persib Bandung players, Kakang Rudianto and Robi Darwis, have again won the trust to defend the Red-White Squad. The two players were summoned to the U-23 Indonesian National Team which will appear in the 2026 U-23 Asian Cup Qualification.
"Two young Persib players, Kakang Rudianto and Robi Darwis, have received another summons from the U-23 Indonesian National Team."
"The summons of Kakang and Robi is intended to undergo a training camp and the 2026 U-23 Asian Cup Qualification round."
"The summons of the two are contained in the PSSI letter numbered 4154 /AGB / 528 / VIII-2025, dated August 19, 2025 which was signed by the Secretary General of PSSI, Yunus Nusi," wrote Persib Bandung in an official statement quoted Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

Robi and Kakang will later join the U-23 Indonesian national team in a series of training centers (TC) in Sidoarjo on August 25-31, 2025.
Furthermore, the Garuda Muda Squad will fight in the 2026 U-23 Asian Cup Qualification on 3-9 September 2025.
On the qualifying agenda, there will be three matches played by Gerald Vanenburg's team. The first match against Laos on September 3, 2025, against Macau on September 6, 2025, and finally clashed against South Korea on September 9, 2025.
In the agenda which took place at the Gelora Delta Sidoarjo Stadium, only the group winners were entitled to a ticket to qualify directly for the 2026 U-23 Asian Cup. While runners-up had the opportunity to qualify, they had to compete in the second best standings.
Of the 11 runner-up teams, only the top four teams are entitled to qualify for the 2026 U-23 Asian Cup.
