Rich Brian Admires Hip-Dut Genre: Makes Scene Hip Hop More Exciting

JAKARTA - The hip-dut music trend, or hip hop dangdut, has succeeded in attracting Rich Brian's attention. He even claimed to be one of the admirers of this unique genre.

When the song Garam and Madu exploded, Brian became one of the addictions. As a music lover, he considered the genre a combination of interesting and pleasing to hear.

Rich Brian expressed his opinion on hip-dut music when he was a guest star on Raditya Dika's podcast which aired August 20 morning.

"I really like it. When I first saw Garam and Madu I was like shocked and felt really fresh. I thought he made a hip hop scene in Indo even more excited," said Brian.

The combination of hip hip hop and dangdut turns out to be a concoction that makes you angry. What was previously not realized by people, can be seen by Tenxi et al who popularized hip-dut.

"He did the things that people had done before, combined the two genres, right. Even though he was targeted like a very obvious, yes, yes (hip hop and dangdut) fits. But before that, no one tried it. And I really saluted him," he said.

On that occasion Rich Brian also revealed his favorite hip-dut song that he often plays now. The song titled mejikuhibiniu from Tenxi has returned to something special for him.
