BTN's Commitment To Make Jakarta A Global City With Jakpro And Ancol

JAKARTA - BTN officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk and PT Jakarta Propertindo or Jakpro in a joint step in encouraging the transformation of Jakarta towards an inclusive, modern and sustainable global city.

This collaboration not only includes synergies in the field of urban development, but is also directed to strengthen the tourism sector and the creative economy as the backbone of Jakarta's future growth.

With the support of BTN as a financial partner, Jakpro as a strategic infrastructure developer, and Ancol as a tourism destination as well as public space, this collaboration is expected to accelerate the development of a tourism ecosystem and creative industry capable of attracting investment, creating new jobs, and increasing Jakarta's competitiveness at the regional and global levels.

"We will encourage several digital services so that they can be more cashless and neater in the Ancol and JIS areas. Hopefully, the many ideas and events that we can hold together can raise tourism and industry in Jakarta, just like big cities in the world which are the centers of sports tourism, culinary tourism, and so on," said BTN President Director Nixon LP Napitupulu through a press release received by VOI editors on Tuesday, August 19.

In addition to banking services for Jakpro and Ancol, BTN is also exploring cooperation in the construction of connecting bridges between Ancol and JIS to facilitate public access, especially when there are major events such as matches and concerts.

"This shows that if we can put each other's egos down, I am sure this collaboration will benefit each other both for BTN, Jakpro, and Ancol. I am sure that I will provide extraordinary space," said Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung.

Through this collaboration, BTN, Ancol and Jakpro confirmed their commitment to jointly build better Jakarta.
