Nganjuk Novi Rahman Hidayat Becomes Suspect In Bribery Auction, Rp647 Million Seized

JAKARTA - Bareskrim Polri appointed the Regent of Nganjuk, East Java, Novi Rahman Hidayat (NRH) was designated as a suspect in the bribery case of the auction of village and camat device positions. In total there are 7 suspected bribery cases whose handling is handed over kpk to bareskrim Polri.

"In the case determined suspect, NRH, Regent Nganjuk who is suspected as the recipient of gifts or promises," said Director of Criminal Corruption Bareskrim Police Headquarters Brig. Gen. Djoko Poerwanto in a press conference, Monday, May 10.

While 6 other suspects Pace Camat, Dupriono as a bribe money giver; Tanjunganom Sub-District head who became Acting Head of Sukomoro Edie Srijato; Camat Berbek, Haryanto; loceret camat, Bambang Subagio; former Sukomoro sub-district head Tri Basuki Widodo and aide to Nganjuk regent M Izza Muhtadin who allegedly brokered the handover of money from the camats to the Nganjuk Regent.

"The evidence that has been obtained, cash amounting to Rp647,900,000 (from the personal safe of the Regent of Nganjuk), 8 (eight) mobile phone units including the savings book of East Java Bank on behalf of Tri Basuki Widodo," said Brig. Gen. Djoko Poerwanto.

In his modus operandi, the camats gave some money to the Regent of Nganjuk through the Regent's aides regarding the mutation and promotion of their positions and the filling of sub-district positions in the ranks of Nganjuk Regency. Furthermore, the aide of the Regent of Nganjuk handed the money to the Regent of Nganjuk.

Par suspects ensnared Article 5 paragraph 1 letter a or b, Psal 11 and Article 12B Law Eradication of Corruption jo Article 55 paragraph 1 one criminal code.

"The investigation will be continued by investigators Dit Tipidkor Bareskrim Polri with the support and cooperation of the KPK," djoko said.
