First Time, Adityawarman Reads The Text Of The Proclamation On The 80th Independence Day

BOGOR - Chairman of the Bogor City DPRD Adityawarman Adil received a mandate as a ceremony officer at the commemoration ceremony of the 80th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia which was held at Sempur Field, Sunday, August 17.

At this ceremony, Adityawarman carried out his duties as a reader of the text of the proclamation of independence which was read by the first President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir Soekarno at Merdeka Square, Jakarta.

Before starting the flag ceremony, Adityawarman together with Forkopimda elements led by the Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A. Rachim attended a prayer with interfaith in Tugu Kujang.

The joint prayers were led by Bogor City religious leaders, namely KH. Tb. Muhidin, Father Endro Susanto, Suhu Xie Shang, Pastor Cahaya Philip, Pandita Ida Rsi Agung, and Js. Andri Harsono.

In the moment of the ceremony which took place solemnly, Adityawarman, who had only received a mandate to read the text of the proclamation, was able to do it firmly and straightforwardly.

"It is an honor for me to be able to revive the spirit of independence," Adit said after the ceremony.

In the framework of the 80th independence day of the Republic of Indonesia in 2025 the theme is 'United Sovereign, the People of Prosperous Indonesia Advance'. According to Adit, the theme is in line with the ideals of the Indonesian nation which has been stated in the 1945 Constitution.

Adityawarman also advised all elements of society to embrace and join hands to maintain the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia and the government to reflect in order to be able to present programs that prosper the community.

"It must always be remembered, our dream to achieve Indonesia Gold 2045 must be relaxed with the support of all existing elements. The community takes care of each other and the government has a common spirit in order to be born a program that prospers the community," he concluded.

After the flag ceremony was completed, Adityawarman Adil was accompanied by his wife, Nora Purbo Utami who is also the Chair of the Bogor City Family Association of Wives and Mother members of the DPRD (IKIAD) participated in the seconds of the proclamation ceremony at the Bogor City Hall with the Bogor City Forkopimda and the granting of remissions to the prisoners at the Paledang Prison.

To note, the series of activities to commemorate the 80th independence day of the Republic of Indonesia began with the inauguration of Paskibraka which was carried out at the City Hall and the Honorary and Holy Reflection Ceremony at the Pahlawan Dreded Cemetery, Bogor City.
