Harmoni Sahabat KILA Becomes A Facilities Forming National Characters Through Children's Songs
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia performed the musical drama 'Harmoni Sahabat KILA Going Together to Achieve Goals' at the Great Theater, the Center for the Arts of Jakarta Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM). This stage is the culmination of the KILA program series, as well as announcing the winners of KILA (Kita Cinta Lagu Anak) 2025, both in the category of the Child Song Creation Contest and the Child Song Singing Competition.
The Minister of Culture, Fadli Zon, in his speech mentioned that KILA is a national movement aimed at reviving the spirit of creation and appearance of quality Indonesian children's songs.
"Through the KILA program, the Ministry of Culture is committed to living children's songs that are meaningful, educational, as well as forming the nation's character," said Fadli in a press release, August 19.
The musical drama 'Harmoni Sahabat KILA' presents a story inspired by the KILA program itself. Echoing a message about the friendship, courage, and spirit of gotong royong of the younger generation of Indonesia which is staged through music, dance, and the art of the role of talented children from various regions in Indonesia. This stage is a space for the expression of Indonesian children's talents who were chosen from the winners of the KILA singing competition in previous years and performed the songs of children created by the winners of the KILA song creation competition.
Menbud Fadli Zon hopes that musical dramas can continue to develop and become part of the trend in Indonesian society.
The musical drama is not only entertaining, but also demands complete ability: singing, dancing, acting, as well as solid teamwork. In the future, we are optimistic that more musical dramas will be born that raise Indonesian stories, including fairy tales and our folklore," he explained. In 2025 KILA has recruited 1,023 participants, consisting of 253 Child Song Contest participants and 770 Child Songs. Through the selection and audition stages by the jury, it was decided that 15 nominations for the Child Song Creation category and 50 nominations for the Child Song Singing category.

The musical drama stage event Harmoni Sahabat KILA is an important moment for the announcement of the winners of the two categories, including: the Song Anak Creation Category sets three best children's songs: Enough by Andre Natalis Putranto; Seven My Great Habits by Damianus Arie Senjayanto; and Bangun Pagi by Rhindra Suspa. The category of Song Adjutanting Contest has appointed Nyoman Bratasena Danapati from Bali Province as Champion I, Kadek Divya Ishana Dwija Putri from Bali Province as Champion II, Lissie Wilhelmina Kambu Sumule from Papua as Champion III, Daffa Pradika Bimantara from East Java Province as Hope Champion; Annisa Faiha Adriana from South Sumatra Province as Hope Champion, and Beatricia Ashera from South Sumatra Province as Hope Champion.
The Minister of Culture gave his appreciation to all participants, both winners and all participants. He conveyed the message that there is always a winner in every competition. "Never give up. Competition must give birth to winners, but the most important thing is to prepare for the better in the future," he said.
The KILA program has been implemented since 2020 and has formed and expanded the network and database of children's song creators and observers from various regions in Indonesia through children's song creation competitions and children's songs singing competitions. Apart from the number of child songwriters who increase with new names every year, this program also adds to the number of children's song collections produced from every KILA competition activity.
At the end of his speech, the Minister of Culture emphasized that KILA is an important forum to find and grow new talents of Indonesia.
"We all hope that through KILA, we will continue to find Indonesian children who will become national cultural stars," he concluded.
