Anies Et Al Ban Office In Jabodetabek Held Halal Bihalal After Eid
JAKARTA - Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan and regional heads in Jabodetabek agreed to ban offices in this agglomeration area to hold halal bihalal after Eid al-Fitr.
This was decided after holding a coordination meeting on controlling activities during the Idulfitri 1442 Hijri season with the regional leaders of Bogor, Tangerang, Bekasi, Metro Jaya Police Chief, Pangdam Jaya, and the Chief of The High Prosecutor's Office.
"When the office starts on Monday, do not start with a halal bihalal event in the sense of meeting, shaking hands," said Anies at Balai Kota DKI, Central Jakarta, Monday, May 10.
Anies also asked all citizens not to hold halal bi halal during Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri at his residence to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
"Similarly, silahturahmi activities, visiting community leaders, religious leaders, friends, neighbors are encouraged to use virtual media until the end of syawal month," said Anies.
Not only that, the governments of Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi agreed to close public cemeteries (TPU) in Jabodetabek for grave pilgrimage during Eid holidays.
The closing of the funeral for the pilgrimage is valid from Wednesday, May 12 to Sunday, May 16, 2021. Even so, funeral processions at TPU can still be done.
"All cemeteries in Jabodetabek will be closed from visitors for pilgrimage. Activities for solitary funerals run in those cemeteries. will be arranged by the service that manages the funeral," said Anies.
Anies advised jabodetabek residents to perform Eid prayers in their homes. For residents who pray outside the house, it is recommended to perform it at the local location.
"Do not go far, just to perform the Eid prayer so that the locations of prayer activities are locations visited by local people. This is to avoid cross-region transmission," said Anies.
If you want to hold Eid prayers at the local mosque, the maximum capacity for pilgrims is 50 percent. While takbiran is recommended virtually and performed in local mosques with a maximum capacity of 10 percent.
