Government Aims For State Revenue From Minerba Reaches IDR 113.3 Trillion In 2026
JAKARTA - The government targets state revenues from the mineral and coal sector by 2026 to reach IDR 113.3 trillion.
This figure experienced a growth of 7.3 percent from the outlook in 2025 of IDR 105.7 trillion.
Quoted from the book II of the Financial Note and the RAPBN for Fiscal Year 2026, this increase was mainly due to an increase in the production/royalty rate for minerals and coal after the stipulation of Government Regulation Number 19 of 2025.
In addition, this increase was also caused by fluctuations in the prices of several minerals of reference minerals, including gold, nickel, and copper in several years.
"The fluctuation of world commodity prices is a challenge that is still difficult to control amid efforts to optimize the policy of managing Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) for Natural Resources (SDA)," wrote Book II of the Financial Note and RAPBN 2026 quoted Monday, August 19.
For this reason, the government has taken five strategic steps in order to achieve the Minerba PNBP target, among others, first, strengthening the synergy of data integration across ministries/agencies (K/L) through the Mineral and Coal Information System (Simbara).
Second, the application of the Automatic Blocking System (ABS) to pay those who do not comply with PNBP obligations.
Third, the cooperation between the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources/Kemendag/Kemenhub/Kemenkeu (DJA, DJBC, and LNSW) to strengthen supervision of export data and domestic transactions.
Fourth, the use of the Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) as a single identity in data integration activities upstream to downstream in the mineral and coal sector.
