Mercedes-Benz Pukau Visitors To Pebble Beach With Future Heritage And Innovation

JAKARTA The prestigious Pebble Beach Automotive Week 2025 event in California just ended last Sunday. Of the many brands showing off, Mercedes-Benz appeared the most prominent in an elegant way: combining past glory through legendary classic cars, as well as displaying vision of the future through stunning innovative models.

This German manufacturer proves that history and innovation go hand in hand by not only displaying a collection of charming cars, but also reviving the spirit of racing and luxury that has been characteristic of Mercedes-Benz for decades.

Prinz-Heinrich-Wagen 1910: Innovating Historical Star

One of the main highlights is Benz Prinz-Heinrich-Wagen 1910 which leads the Tour d'Elegance event. This 115-year-old race car is not only stunning with its authentic design, but also won the Charles A. Chayne Trophy for the most advanced technology of its era.

This car is equipped with a four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 5.7 liters with four-valve technology, double switch, and aerodynamic body. According to Marcus Breitschwerdt, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Heritage GmbH, this award reaffirms the power of brand innovation.

"Benz Prinz-Heinrich-Wagen from 1910 has set standards in machine technology and design 115 years ago," he said, quoted from the manufacturer's website, Tuesday, August 19.

Remember 75 Years Of Formula 1

The celebration of the 75th anniversary of Formula 1 became a central theme. At the Concourses d'Elegance event, Mercedes-Benz Classic featured the legendary W 196 R Formula 1 racing car, which once led Juan Manuel Fangio to become world champion in 1954 and 1955.

In addition, the modern model Mercedes-AMG F1 W16 driven by George Russell and Kimi Antonelli in the 2025 racing season, comes as a bridge that connects the past and the present.

At the Laguna Seca racing arena, visitors were treated to a show from the 1950s Silver Arrows and high-performance SLR McLaren Stirling Moss 2009, which showcased the brand's racing legacy.

Sinematical Sensation At "Stargaze Theater"

Mercedes-Benz also created a unique experience with the "Stargaze Theater", a drive-in cinema featuring clips from famous films where Mercedes-Benz cars starred. The iconic car of the film such as Jurassic Park (Mercedes-Benz M-Class), Beverly Hills Cop (Mercedes-Benz 380 SL), and The Hangover (Mercedes-Benz 220 SE) is exhibited, showing how this brand has been part of pop culture for decades.

Future Stars

Not only celebrating history, Mercedes-Benz also provides leaks about the future. Recent models such as CONCEPT AMG GT XX, Mercedes-Benz Vision V, and special edition Mercedes-Maybach S 680 Edition Emerald Issue which are only 25 units produced, lure visitors with its latest design and technology.

Pebble Beach Automotive Week 2025 once again became a silent witness to how Mercedes-Benz continued to build a "heritage that creates the future", a philosophy they managed to realize perfectly.
