A Row Of World Technology Leaders Will Be Present At IBM's 4.0 Studio Tour

Singapore's Industry 4.0 Studio Tour event, which was held by IBM at i4 Studio, Singapore, not only featured the latest technological demonstrations, but also presented a series of world technology leaders as speakers. They will share views, strategies, and experiences about digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and the future of industry.

Starting the event, Hans Dekkers, General Manager of IBM Asia Pacific, delivered the keynote opening. Dekkers leads IBM's entire strategy and operations in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Korea, India, South Asia, to China. With a long experience in various parts of the world, he is known as a figure who drives IBM's growth through hybrid cloud and AI.

Thomas leads IBM's software business as well as is responsible for the company's global income. He is also known as the author of technology strategy books, including the newly published AI Value Creators in 2025.

With Jerome Walter, HashiCorp's Field Chief Technology Officer, who previously served as CISO Trust Bank Singapore. With more than 22 years of experience in cybersecurity, he is known to play an important role in driving the rapid growth of one of Asia's leading digital banks.

In addition, Parul happened, Vice President of Global Technology Sales for IBM's AI and Orchestratic portfolio, shared his insights into the global go-to-market strategy for AI and automation. Parul previously led the development of the WATsonx Orchestra and is now focusing on accelerating enterprise productivity through a secure and integrated multi-agent system.

In an exclusive interview session, Barry Baker, IBM Infrastructure Chief Operating Officer and IBM Systems General Manager, will explore a formidable hybrid infrastructure strategy to support critical applications. With more than two decades of experience at IBM, Baker is now also leading the company's global supply chain.

Another name that appears is Julian Tan, the leader of the AI and Quantum-based supply chain transformation in IBM. He has won various global awards thanks to his work in developing AI-based quality solutions, including from Frost & Sullivan and the Manufacturing Leadership Council.

In the showcase forum, Kitman Chueng, IBM ASEAN Chief Technology Officer, shared his experience in leading software, data, AI, to cybersecurity in the region. Meanwhile, Purushothama Shenoy (Puru), IBM Ecosystem's APAC Field CTO, highlighted the importance of hybrid cloud, big data, and security-based digital transformation.
