Geely Livan Total, Electric Cars At A Price Of IDR 81 Million

JAKARTA Automotive manufacturers from China continue to compete to present practical and pocket-friendly electric vehicles. This time, it was Geely's turn to launch her latest tiny electric car called Livan totaling, officially introduced on Tuesday, August 19.

This car is designed as a concise urban EV, targeting young consumers and daily users in big cities. Its presence will directly deal with popular players in the micro EV segment, such as Wuling Hongguang Mini EV, Chery QQ Icecream, to Bestunefactor.

In terms of appearance, based on a report from Carnewschina, Livan Maria brings a cute and friendly design. The front fascia uses a closed grille with a Forest Spirit Eye-style main light that adds to the funny character. Combined with a silver front bumper, this car seems to have visual effects such as a smile''. The charging port is placed uniquely in the center of the front.

From the side, calm looks simple with a flat body profile. Geely offers a two-tone and one-color body color option, as well as a 14-inch velg with the Vibrat Pinwheel model which gives an energetic impression.

Entering the cabin, a simple feel but still functional is immediately felt. Three interior color options are available, namely Sakura Pink, Castle Gray, and Forest Green. Some practical features are also embedded, such as a two-stop steering wheel, a rotating model transmission lever, a floating control screen, and external hooks for luggage.

For dimensions,iri has a length of 3,100 mm, a width of 1,558 mm, and a height of 1,610 mm with a wheelbase of 2,015 mm. The vacant weight is only 815 kg, making it agile to maneuver on urban roads. This car was also built with unibody construction, 553 mm front overhang and 532 mm behind, as well as an ABS system to support driving safety.

Performance affairs are powered by a single electric motorbike powered by 30 kW (40 hp) with a peak speed of 100 km/hour. While the distance is estimated to reach 200 km of full charging.

Interestingly, this tiny electric car is said to be marketed at a price below 36,000 yuan or around Rp. 81 million, making it one of the most affordable urban EVs ready to steal attention.
