Boy Driver Of Yellow VW Beetle Who Hit Police In Prambanan Is Criminally Charged
JAKARTA - Teenagers with the initials AD (16) yellow Volkswagen (VW) drivers are ticketed as well as criminally ensnared. The perpetrator is considered to be fighting the police by breaking through the checkpoint until it crashes into the personnel at the Prambanan homecoming checkpoint.
"Surely we are ticketed because the boy does not have a driver's license, criminal proceedings Article 212 criminal code against officers. We are still checking and of course, we apply diversion because the perpetrator is a boy, we involve Correctional Center to participate in the examination", said Police Chief Klaten AKBP Edy Suranta Sitepu in a press conference, Monday, May 10.
The yellow VW incident that broke through members at the Prambanan homecoming checkpoint occurred on Saturday, May 8 at around 4:20 p.m. Initially members pulled over this yellow VW Beetle to check the completeness of the driving letter.
But the boy suddenly stepped on the gas and broke through the examination until he grazed a member of the police.
"The person in question escaped on the gas, our member on the right side was grazed, the member was lightly injured", the Police Chief continued.
Afterward, police chased the driver of a yellow VW up to one kilometer from the site of the Prambanan sealing post. The driver was immediately taken to Klaten Police Station.
"This child is afraid because he asked for an ID card and other letters. Afraid to be ticketed, so run away because he is afraid because he does not have papers", said AKBP Edy Suranta.
Police also conducted urine tests on the driver of the yellow VW. Certainly, the perpetrators of the police break-in are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
"In the question we've checked, our car checks, nothing related to drugs. Urine checks are no longer related to that", said the Police Chief
