Nayla Purnama Trauma See Meat After Playing Labinak Film

PURWOKERTO - young actress Nayla Purnama shared her unique way of exploring a role without having to be emotionally carried into real life.

He emphasized the importance of having clear boundaries between acting and the private world, a expertise that an actor thinks must have.

"Yes, actually that's one of the skills that I think as an actor must have, namely the boundaries between the real world and the world in the script," said Nayla Purnama in the Purwokerto area, Central Java, Monday, August 18.

To maintain these limitations, Nayla explained that he has a special method which he calls a door for entry and exit from a character.

"Actually, for example, if I'm really carried away psychologically, because I always have a method where every time I want to enter my character, where I play Yanti, I always have a kind of door for myself," explained Nayla. This method he applies through simple but effective physical gestures, such as changing the way he sits.

"So when I set I will do for example how to sit when I have become Yanti I will be like this, but if I become Nayla it won't be like this," said Nayla Purnama.

He created this limit consciously so that the emotional burden of the character he played would not be carried away into his personal life.

"So that's how it is, those are the limits that I make so I don't bring them home, so that the feelings I feel in this film, in this film story I don't bring them home," he continued.

Despite successfully maintaining psychological boundaries, Nayla admitted that she faced another unexpected challenge on set. This comes from the food properties used, which are made very similar to the original.

"Actually, it's more like that, because the foods that become property in this film are really very similar, even one after another. So from a measure, it's very similar," said Nayla Purnama.

The property is so realistic, especially those that show fatty foods, it had a side effect on him, even though it only lasted a moment.

"It's more like that day. So it's like if you look at the existing foods like fats, it's like that, but the recovery is fast," he explained.

The production house Anami Films released the latest film entitled Labinak: They Are Here. This film will air on August 21, 2025.

The film, directed by Azhar Kinoi Lubis, raises the concept of psychological thriller about cannibalism. This film is inspired by urban legends about the practice of cannibalism.
