Puan Maharani Said There Was No Increase In The Salaries Of Members Of The DPR RI

JAKARTA - The Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, responded to the news of the increase in the salaries of members of the Indonesian House of Representatives, which was said to be Rp. 3 million per day, to reporters at the Merdeka Palace Complex, Jakarta, Sunday, August 17.

Recently, news circulated that the salaries of members of the Indonesian House of Representatives had increased significantly. It was stated that the increase reached up to Rp. 3 million per day.

Puan Maharani dismissed the issue of increasing the salary of members of the DPR RI. According to him, what happened was compensation related to members of the DPR RI who no longer received a house from the government.
