Progres Konstruksi Tol Probolinggo Banyuwangi Sudah 86,43 Persen

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk through its subsidiary PT Jasamarga Probolinggo Banyuwangi (PT JPB) noted that the progress of the Probolinggo Toll Road Phase I construction has reached 86.43 percent as of August 3, 2025.

Phase I development is the work of Probolinggo Besuki which is divided into 3 work packages, namely Package 1 (Gending'Kraksaan), Package 2 (Paiton's 'Kraksaan') to Package 3 (Paiton'Besuki).

Jasa Marga President Director Rivan Achmad Purwantono said, for land acquisition Phase I until August 3, 2025, PT JPB noted that its progress had reached 100 percent.

Rivan said that in accordance with Permenko Perekonomian Number 9 of 2022, land acquisition and construction of the Probolinggo 'Banyuwangi Toll Road are focused on the Probolinggo' Besuki section.

"With the completion of Phase I, we are optimistic that we can support the economic strengthening of the East Java region as well as suppress the infrastructure gap between regions," Rivan said as quoted from a written statement, Monday, August 18.

The Probolinggo Banyuwangi Toll Road for the Probolinggo 'Besuki section is expected to cut the travel time from about 1 hour to 15 minutes to 30 minutes with an average speed of 80-100 km/hour.

The Probolinggo Banyuwangi Toll Road also has a total length of 175.4 kilometers (km) which is divided into two stages of construction. Phase I connects Probolinggo Besuki with a length of 49.68 km and Phase II connecting Besuki' Banyuwangi with a length of 125.72 km.

Rivan explained that the Probolinggo Toll Road, Banyuwangi, not only facilitates the flow of logistics and community mobility, but is also a catalyst for the development of the tourism, agriculture and industrial sectors in the Horseshoe area.

"If land acquisition is in accordance with the target, construction work for the Paiton Gending Segment is targeted to be completed by 2025, while the Paiton 'Besuki' segment is targeted for completion in 2026," he said.

According to him, his party also maintains the level of domestic components (TKDN) in construction work and uses as many local resources as possible in the work.

"Including the provision of labor, equipment and domestic materials," said Rivan.

The construction of Phase I Probolinggo Besuki will later have three Toll Gates (GT), namely GT Kraksaan, GT Paiton and GT Situbondo Barat. In addition, the toll road will also have three intersections (SS), namely SS Kraksaan, SS Paiton and SS Besuki.

Overall, the Probolinggo Toll Road is divided into seven sections, namely Section 1 Gending Kraksaan (12.88 km); Section 2 KraksaanPaiton (11.20 km); Section 3 Paiton Besuki (25.60 km); Section 4 Besuki Situbondo (42.30 km); Section 5 SitubondoAsembagus (16.76 km); Section 6 Asembagus Bajulamati (37.45 km); and Section 7 Bajulmati Ketapang (29.21 km).

As a National Strategic Project (PSN) managed by Jasa Marga, the completion of the construction of the Probolinggo 'Banyuwangi Toll Road is expected to cut the travel time of Probolinggo Banyuwangi, which was originally 5 hours through arterial roads to only 2 hours.
